In our car design, air is stored in high pressure, carbon fiber tanks. This style of tank is stronger than steel and lighter in weight. These two factors will help increase the distance the car can travel before refilling the air tanks. If the air powered vehicle is involved in an accident and a tank is ruptured, the worst case scenario would be the release of air. In addition to storing a large amount of potential energy in the form of air, APCC has designed an air powered generator with an efficient yet powerful air delivery device, combined with a unique electrical and mechanical system. We believe the synergy of these components will provide for a very efficient and economical air powered car.
